WE HAVE MOVED!

"And I beheld, and heard the voice of one eagle flying through the midst of heaven,
saying with a loud voice: Woe, woe, woe to the inhabitants of the earth....

The Raging Waves of Self

The Raging Waves of Self
Short Reflection by Eric Gajewski

If it seems you are always suffering it is because Love you much and are seeking the Beloved wholly.  For our hearts will not rest until they rest in Him.  Nay, it shall seem as if you are out on the raging seas.  It seems as if Jesus is asleep.  Your ship will be tossed to and fro by these raging waves of self but He is still present.  He maybe presently sleeping but a “sleeping Jesus” has a more watchful eye than the most knowledgeable sailor of the sea.  Our souls seem to be at constant war with these crashing waves of self but the ship is fortified by grace because Jesus is on it.  And with each trial won each Cross carried (until the predestined time be fulfilled) you will find Jesus stand up and calm the seas completely.  Rest will be given.

Then another storm will arise and the process repeat itself all the way till you make harbor in Union with God.  The journey is done at first in the dark and then as harbor approaches the sun begins to peak over the shoreline.  You will become more and more of Him and less and less of you.  And over time you will find that the raging storms no longer even bother you as the conscious thought or divine kiss of Love and suffering meet in your soul.   Then you too will sleep in peace like Jesus wilst the Storm rages on.  Remember if even the lowly the winds and waves must obey Him what makes you think you think you can disobey?
